Energy Sources

If I were building a house and I had the choice to pick which one to power my house I would pick solar energy. I would pick this because there are a lot more advantages for it than dissadvantages. Another reason I'd choose this is because solar energy can be used to heat and give electricity to a home. Solar energy is renewable which is a huge plus and also the sun can radiate more energy in one second then people have since time began.Active solar houses use special collectors to absorb the sunlight and turn it into heat. That is a dissadvantage and that's why my house would be a passive solar home because they do not require special equipment to run. It would also save money to spend on something else. One of the dissadvantages of this energy source is that getting the radiant energy is hard because it's spread out. In an effort to help get energy easier I would put my house where a lot of sunlight and it's energy shines on. I think this would be the best energy source to use for my very own house/mansion.

Should people be required to use fluorescent light bulbs?
Yes, I think people shoulb be required to use these energy saving light bulbs. They should use these because they last 10 times longer than regular light bulbs and also use an amazing 75% less energy. They are expenzive to buy, but I bet after you used one of the flourescent bulbs for a month your electric bill would be a lot cheaper. This is true because on average they save over 30 dollars during its lifetime. You know when people tell you to look for energy star because their a great buy, well these are energy star items and that's not just for no reason they save a bunch of energy. Energy star says if every american house put one of these bulbs in their home then we would save enough energy to light and brighten more than 3 million homes for a whole entire year. That proves how good these are and why people should be required to use these great lights.

Genetics/heredity

Mom- attached ear lobes,hair on fingers, no widows peak, straight hair, smooth chin, no dimples. Dad- attached ear lobes, hair on fingers, no widows peak, curly hair, cleftcin,no dimples. I inherited my attached earlobes,hair on my fingers, and no widows peak, from both of my parents. I recieved my smooth chin from my mom. I did not get dimples from either one of them. I know that because the traits I got was from either one of them and the only one I didn't get from the was my dimples.
